Open letter to Ryan Call, Chairman of the Colorado Republican Party

[Editor’s note: this was originally forwarded to us by Tracker in an email, we’ve reproduced it here to give it more visibility to our Colorado readers.]

Ryan Call,

This article by Daniel Greenfield does a good job defining who you are. In 2014 when you dip sticks who are in the way of victory claim defeat you can only blame yourselves. It very well may be too late. Read history.

[Editor’s Note: the entire article linked from Daniel Greenfield at FrontPage Magazine was forwarded with these following passages highlighted in red by Tracker. We’ve included just those portions below.]

[…] And he’ll believe that is what the Republican Party really stands for because the elephant no longer roars loud enough to be heard, it moderately whispers, and is outbrayed by every jackass.

[…] Complacency has made it impossible for the Republican Party to compete. It’s so busy being reasonable that it unreasonably fails to realize that no one is paying attention to its displays of moderation.

[…] American voters had a choice between two men. One was passionate. The other was reasonable. One was applying for a job interview. The other was warning that their children would starve in the streets and their daughters would take wire hangers to themselves if he wasn’t reelected. Despite the poll numbers, the turnout favored the passionate candidate. It favored the teleprompter demagogue warning that the sky, the phones and the food stamps were about to fall.Ted Cruz isn’t the biggest threat to the Republican Party. He’s the only hope for the Republican Party. Cruz understands that you have to fight to win. You don’t get points for compromise. Compromise is what it takes to run the system, but voters elect candidates to do specific things for them. They want politicians who will represent their interest to the best of their abilities.

[…] The Republican Party has two options. It can learn to fight or it can give up.

[…] The Republican Party will never win by out-moderating its enemies.

The Republican Party was established in 1854 under similar circumstances we have today, a failed Whig Party and break away Free Soil Democrats. Think a failed Republican Party and the up and coming break away young Libertarians.

You and your backward ideas are doomed. We are fusing old men and women who have been the core of the Republican Party with our children and grandchildren who are the Ron Paul Libertarians. You are truly done, well done, you upside down so-called ‘moderate’ (a word now synonymous with ‘appeaser’). Go have another cocktail with your rich country club Republican friends and debate what the hell is happening to all of you, you squishy cowards.

It will be Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee and your other ‘tea party’ enemies whom we will endorse and support, not you and your snakes, John McCain, LIndsey Graham, Mitch McConnell and other pencil necks who spend time just like you writing and promoting concession speeches or a better description, defeat speeches.

Never forget the Pueblo recalls. You sided with the wrong people, those who opposed the recalls, and who would that be? You, your friends and all the Democrat socialists/Marxists.

  1. He could’ve said it with more finesse, perhaps, but he has passion….and he’s right.
