Is anyone else not fooled by Dick Armey? Good.

I don’t buy his latest attempt to hitch his brand of republicanism to the Tea Party wagon. From an exchange with Jon Stewart to pimp his book ‘Tea Party Manifesto’:

“If you and I were left on a desert island,” Armey said. “Now how would that happen?” Stewart asked. “One of us is going to be the government,” Armey said. “How tall are you?” Stewart said. “I’m going to have a gun,” replied Armey.

Dick, might doesn’t make right. If you think just simply transferring the power of government force (read: tyranny) back to the GOP is synonymous with what brothers and sisters of liberty are fighting for, then that’s dead wrong.

I've published HoT along with about 300+ friends since 2002. We're all Americans who are snarky and love our country. I'm a libertarian that registered Republican because I like to win elections. That's pretty much it.
