America, the radicalized

I’m a big fan of what Jon Stewart is doing in promoting “reason and rational discourse” with his dueling rally with Stephen Colbert in DC on Saturday October 30th, hell… I might even make the trek from Cleveland if the stars line up. But as unemployment numbers continue to depress and overall economic news is dismal, is it really a horrible thing if we the people are outraged and emotional when we can plainly see how regularly we’re being skinned by both the democrats and republicans?

Americans, for the first time in my life, are becoming radicalized for liberty… in a very smart and educated mass (mostly online) movement. Sure, there are a lot of groups competing to point folks down the wrong path, but I think it’s completely off-track for Stewart to try and quell this sentiment (hell, his popularity is fueled by righteous outrage).

People should be mad as hell, and doing something about it beyond rallies.

I've published HoT along with about 300+ friends since 2002. We're all Americans who are snarky and love our country. I'm a libertarian that registered Republican because I like to win elections. That's pretty much it.
