Vote for Free Talk Live

It’s the first day of May, so that means our friends over at Free Talk Live need your vote to make them #1 at some podcast dick-wagging site. Well, apparently enough people read that other site that it’s awesome to have a libertarian talk show be in the top slot. And hey, it feels good to pull the lever for a fellow libertarian and see them actually win something (they are currently #2).

So go vote now.

Stephen VanDyke

I've published HoT along with about 300+ friends since 2002. We're all Americans who are snarky and love our country. I'm a libertarian that registered Republican because I like to win elections. That's pretty much it.

  1. Will do. I just started listening recentley. It’s a great program.

  2. Well, I actually voted (My first vote, that I can recall, for a Libertarian, in fact) before any of these comments, but I didn’t say so, so there you go…and I’m sure I’m not alone.

  3. Wow, thanks Stephen! Thank you to all who voted, you’re helping expose Liberty to brand new people!

  4. I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts, and wasted a lot of time. But Free Talk Live is definitely worth your time. And I’m not saying that just because I give them $5 bucks a month. :)

  5. I’m a new listener as well and will vote again. I tried to call in once, but Vonage was crackling. Great thing they got and I want more of it than 3 hours a day 6 days a week. Any expansion plans on the horizon, or other equally entertaining and thought provoking libertarian radio out there on the web?

And for the record I think the chic that is suing because she won a wet t-shirt contest should have been told beforehand her boobies would show up on Playboy videos. But I agree she is taking it too far now.

  6. I agree Michael. It is going to be really tough to get any work done knowing that there is so much FTL I could be listening to.

  7. Jeff, thanks for asking.

We would like to expand horizontally before expanding length of show. (I’m already swamped with work. I’m affiliate relations, host, and webmaster. Plus, I get lots of emails.)

We need more radio stations as we only have 14. Imagine 500.

Luckily, this is something you can easily help with! I suggest you go here and read the FAQ:

With a few phone calls to local station Program Directors, our odds of getting on in your area increase!

  8. Ian, you are the man!!! I will call and fax my contacts at WMBD AM1470 in Peoria tomorrow. They won’t listen much, but they’ll at least take my call since I know them. You would be incredibly better than Jim Bohannon in my ears, although you’d have to put up with being pre-empted by Cardinal’s games. I think your show would “play” very well in Peoria. Too bad we can’t just go out and create our own radio station to carry you…. In any event you have a permanent link on my little, personal blog. It’s the least I can do to appreciate your hard work for freedom.

And if you ever want to talk to someone about ballot access laws and decmoratic elections, I am man your man when Richard Winger isn’t available.
