Political Music Video: “Work It Out”

Jurrassic 5 and Dave Matthews Band teamed up to create this awfully funny spoof video of George Bush’s presidency. The simplistic apolitical lyrics work themselves into the visuals in a timely indictment of Bush’s twisted take on “compassionate” conservatism.

I’m digging this just for the staggering amount of issues they manage to cover in a four-minute video. And it’s not heavy-handed in one political direction or another, which is bound to make this an Internet hit once the bigger blogs find out about it.

I've published HoT along with about 300+ friends since 2002. We're all Americans who are snarky and love our country. I'm a libertarian that registered Republican because I like to win elections. That's pretty much it.

  1. Loved the eavesdropping NSA agent yanked up when “Bush” flexed his muscle. Too bad that isn’t really the case.

  2. Wes: Yes. Working on HoT redesign/comment voting issues, soft launching as soon as I can to get the rest of the kinks worked out so I can focus on the campaign tracking functionality.

  3. Now THAT is hilarious. Love how he takes the water from disaster relief, modifies the “out of work” signs, and Cheney drives all the minorities into the recruiting center. How can I post this in my blog?
