Badnarik Site Temporarily Down

The Badnarik for Congress site has been up and down for a few hours. Allen Hacker asked me to advise you that they’re aware of the problem and working diligently on it. I’ve been chatting with Hacker, Brad Spangler and with their server company — so I know they are doing everything possible at this moment. Hopefully, it will be back up in quickly.

I like tasteful cigars, private property, American whiskey, fast cars, hot women, pre-bailout Jeeps, fine dining, worthwhile literature, low taxes, original music, personal privacy and self-defense rights -- but not necessarily in this order.

  1. i’m sorry, ellen HACKER is advising us that web site is down? too funny.

hey did anyone ever notice that on NPR, when they do reports on Lewis Libby, it’s usually Libby Lewis reporting?

  2. Suoory, I don’t get the joke. There are tens of thousands of Hackers in the US as we’ve been here since 1679, but the only famous Ellen I’m aware of is an olympic synchronized swimmer. Sooo…..?

Anyway, Thanks, Steve! The site seems to have stabilized.

  3. Thanks, Chris,

I suppose I shouldn’t have read the “ellen” part, it completely pointed me away from this, the 1,574,566th bad poke at my name.

I’m gonna reconsider driving a cab.

  4. Here’s funny:

The first time I registered Act!, the contact management software from Symantec, I entered A Hacker for my name and it refused to register: “Sorry, no joke names.”

So I registered as Ghost Ryder and it took it!

Then I wrote them an unfriendly email explaining how I was thinking that a family that’s been in the country since 1679 might want to start suing people who abuse their name. They apologized profusely and refunded my money.

  5. “can’t find the web site

The site is still not accessible from my location in FL. It hasn’t been for over 30 hours. I’ve tried typing in the URL as well as clicking on the Google link for it — same message each time as above.
