Blogging of the President has written an awesome expose covering Michelle Malkin, her new book and her employer in:
Her thesis, that the internment camps of Japanese Americans during WWII were essential to national security, sparked a mini-volcano online. Eric Muller, professor and guest on the well-respected Volokh Conspiracy led a rebuttal of the points in her book with an eleven part series (her response is on herblog).
When the history of the bologosphere is written, undoubtedly the story of Trent Lott scandal will probably reverberate as the first instance of public censuring. But we may be witnessing the next incarnation of this watchdog mentality being unleashed: Michelle Malkin’s new book — “In Defense of Internment: The Case for ‘Racial Profiling’ in World War II and the War on Terror” — will possibly be the first book debunked and made irrelevant before it has even been published.
