The monopoly term goes back to German sociologist Max Weber, who as David Cordea points out, also supported Article 48, which allowed Hitler to come to power. Furthermore Max Weber’s original formulation is, ““Upholding of the domestic and external distribution of violence and power. […] The appeal to the naked violence of the means of coercion towards the outside, but also towards the inside is absolutely essential to any political association. … the ‘state’ is that association, which claims the monopoly of legitimate violence – it can’t be defined otherwise.”

If we continue to allow King Obama to ruff shod over democracy and set up a murderous campaign against his enemies then we have absolutely no right to criticize Germany for allowing Hitler to become powerful and murder millions. Obama is on the same course and we are like Germany 1937. We need to limit congressional terms to 8 years and return to God as a nation. Whatever it takes to accomplish this our elected officials as well as our citizenry should be prepared to go the distance because we really are about to lose not only the meaning of freedom but freedom itself.

It’s time for Congress to grow a conscience and a backbone. This is a blatant violation of people’s rights to allow the emperor president to kill people as he sees fit.

Might as well just target political enemies and be done with it if this is the road we’re taking. Except the only people taking that road are UNAMERICAN/IMMORAL politicians.

We’re getting a LOT of mileage off the drones, and specifically Graham, I approve :) BONUS: for drones, remember that the G40 RC Plane record is something like 237 MPH, a Predator/Reaper cruises at 197 and maxes at 300, so if you REALLY wish to be left alone, a $500 toy can make a multimillion dollar boondoggle into a waste of fuel or a smoking wreck (depending on if you wanted to harass or actually kamikaze) rather quickly
