However, I think taking an oath to obey, and defend the constitution, from all threats, and then using all the powers derived from the document, while ignoring all the parts that limit your, or the government’s powers, trumps it. Particularly when you have served as a constitutional law professor, and a US senator, and opposed many of the actions that you now practice yourself.
