Since you’ve been gone…I ain’t missing you at all, George W

As much as Obama has been sucking, some people have been driven to ask whether we miss George W. Bush. Here’s Keith Olbermann reminding us why he should not be missed:

I spent much of the Shrub presidency advocating that he should be impeached. Unfortunately, the Libertarian Party missed the opportunity to call for his impeachment for the same principled reasons we once called for Clinton’s impeachment (no, not the blowjobs). For those same reasons, we should now call for Obama’s impeachment as well. But, only if we also call for war crimes trials for Bush and his gang. Otherwise, we look like we only find fault with Democrats, when both wings of the bipartisan bird of prey are equally responsible for destroying our freedom and prosperity.

I’m not saying we judge the presidency on a curve, but seriously…the last guy was a glue-eater who nearly destroyed us, provided Barack Obama doesn’t go door to door lighting Americans on fire, he’s winning.”

    Obama has a lock on government employees, life-long democrats and blacks, so just like Bush, his approval rating will hit ~30% and stay there.

    But the difference with Obama is that he’s actually really deft at making his critics look foolish and is not afraid of the Internets and technology.

    Obama’s political team is pretty inept; they’re like the dog that caught the car. They could chase after that car like no other dog in history… but once they caught it, they had no idea what to do with it.

    Also, Obama seems to be choosing to take “ownership” of a lot of stuff that he really shouldn’t. Stuff he wasn’t responsible for, he’s now lying about… like the Iraq War. Or, for that matter, the economy. It’s not his fault it’s a total mess, but now instead of acknowledging the extent of the damage to press for the passage of solutions to said damage, he’s trying to whitewash it.

    Voters know when they’re being lied to, and although the Democrats are doing far better than the Republicans would be right now, their retarded decision to lie to the public about the depth of the crises facing this country will be their downfall.

      Enough with the ownership question… he ran for president, he’s the president. He hasn’t called to repeal Bush’s legacy, which is pretty much accepting that as the executive branch leader he is in charge of executing those policies. The choice is there.
