I think it’s awesome how they aren’t even really trying to hide it so much these days. It’s like they just gave up the ghost of the pretense of impartiality. Or, more likely, they tried to hock it on eBay since it’s all about the cash.

Which it is all about the cash, before someone tries to paint me as some altruistic collectivowhatever, but my cash would rather go to an unbiased product… and I think a whole shitload of consumers agree. Bring on the stories of how we’re fucking up in Afghanistan, I think we need to know more than anyone else since we’re leading that war. Don’t insult us with namby-pamby shit about celebrities or whoever. Bring on the truth, the full truth, and nothing but the truth.

    If consumers think that they arent getting the whole story in Newsweek, than they will go somewhere else. I’d like to see where any of this violates the rules of supply and demand in Economics 101. All we are talking about here is a different cover story; the magazine has the same articles. How we get from this, to some conspiracy theory escapes me, but I am sure that paulie has a link or an unreleased movie that explains it all.

    I’m glad we agree. But why not make it explicit? Between corporate sponsorship patches on their uniforms, vehicles and barracks, and voluntary contributions from the millions of warmongers still in denial about the true nature of this war, there should be enough money available to get the US treausry completely out of it.

    If not, leave them in the bloody desert. Quit paying them immediately. They can stay and fight for whoever hires them, pay for their own way home, or kill themselves. Why should those of us who oppose this mess pay one more penny to continue it? Time for a general tax strike.

    Incorrect. That’s one estimate. Right below they say “British Medical journal Lancet estimates 100,000″ and there are numerous other respectable estimates which are far higher. If we count both Iraq invasions and the 12 years of blockade in between, the Iraq holocaust of the last 15 years has already killed about two million people. This includes deaths from starvation and disease as well as violence. About half children.
